Julie Rollins, PT, Owner
Julie Rollins, PT received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 1995. She has completed extensive continuing education in a variety of different manual therapeutic techniques. In 1997, Julie became interested in a newer area of specialization that differentiated herself from other practitioners in Western North Carolina. This specialization was in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction that includes the treatment of incontinence, pelvic pain and colorectal dysfunction. This has been further expanded to include pediatric and male pelvic floor dysfunction. Her other areas of expertise include chronic pain, fibromyalgia, spine/pelvic rehabiliation and shoulder conditions. In order to stay focused on the wellness of her clients, Julie opened Stepping Stone Rehab, Inc. in 2001. She has been a member of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1993. Julie is completely dedicated to her clients and profession. She believes the healing process is unique to each individual and shows compassion in listening to her clients needs and rehabilitative goals. A native of Hendersonville, Julie enjoys spending time gardening, canning vegetables, hiking and camping with her husband and four children.
Shannon Dunlap, PT, RN
Shannon Dunlap, PT, RN received her Bachelor Degree of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University in 2001 and Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003. She has completed continuing education in a variety of areas. Areas of expertise include extensive manual therapy techniques, orthopedic, female pelvic floor weakness and dysfunction, spine and pelvic stability rehab and various post-surgical conditions. Shannon enjoys treating a variety of conditions but is advanced in manual techniques involving the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacroiliac joint regions. She also enjoys treating amputees. Shannon is fully committed to the care of her patients for optimal outcomes and is able to utilize her nursing background in a nurturing and intellectual fashion. She understands the individuality of her patients and is attentive to their needs in accomplishing their own goals. Shannon is a native to the Arden area and enjoys involvement in her church, ministry, exercising, scrapbooking and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
